Brewster The Prince

For a guy who has his very own web site I don't post nearly enough about the cats. We received bad news this week. Our prince Brewster (aka "The Bruce!") has been diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy which, unfortunately is not a small thing. It means he's got five years, tops. It's sad for us but now we are even more interested in buying a house so we can get him a yard to prowl, sniff, and sneak around.

If it were me, I'd buy a house for my cat too. The power behind any source of love is beyond comprehension and why we live and breathe. Blessings and good luck.

Poor old Burucey. Yeah, great picture. What kind of camera do you use?

Aw man...sorry about The Bruce. I know I'd be very bummed if it was my kittie. Share more photos with us (and Maggie too!)

Isn't it funny what we choose to write about? We often blog about some of the most irrelevant things: cell phones, internet etc. - we (at least I) always seem to forget about the important things, family, friends and pets.

Don't bring me down... Bruce!
Sorry about your cat, but man, you got a good long time to appreciate Brewster and care for him which is cool. He's in good hands and that's the comforting part. See ya zood

Hi Biz,
I've had my dog for 16 great years; he died one year ago, and I still do miss him a lot. I know how we can get so emotionally attached to our pets. I got my dog when I was 13, so he was kind of the younger brother I've never had (sound cheesy, but it's true).
I'm sorry to hear about Bruce, really. An advice: cherish each day you share. Don't suffer in advance (easier said than done, I know; it could happened that your life and Bruce's had never "crossed" and met - that happened, is still happening, and you should be grateful because of that.
Be strong, for you and Bruce, ok?
Regards,
batatas

You like some strange Blog Sites. My friend keeps going on about Blog this Blog that - Jo you'd be a great Blogger.. (Right?) Ok well I've decided, much like when Txt came along and my daughter who'd been using Cellphones since age 8 starting talking a new language, after thinking what a complete waste of time I know I'd better learn quick!.... so I can txt with the best of em... now it's time to Blog!... So my first day introduced to Blogging - found your site... odd - you'd like my mum she's zaney n cool and into cats... and has an online glass museum of all things operated from Piaha Bay of Islands - on the seafront! (Awsome spot too).. But that's my mum for you, showing the rest of us how to have a lifestyle in paradise, globe trotting aroudn the world writing articles about Glass of all things - I can't wait to call her tomorrow and tell her about Blogging - I think I'll have to actually sit down and show her though - coz its one of those things you jkust go eh? Wot? huh? - but Sh'ed be the best blogger I reckon. I;ve decided a new ambition in life other than being a Ski Bum is to be an expert Blogger by the end of 2005... I'm hoping it's not too complicated... :-) anyway cheers - thanks for the inspiration.. I;ve roped in my mate in Australia and we're doing a cross the ditch chat on VoIP, Blog & come up with insane excuses to get down to the Ski fields sooner... 26 days on the mountain last year - hoping it'll be more this year :-)))))... k tuning out see ya. Sorry to hear that... My wife and I have cycled through pets in our lives. We miss and mourn each one that passes. We currently have 4 cats. A 7+ year old, 3 1+ year olds (all brothers and sister). I hope you find another to help Bruce cope.

Peace
