Part 1 of a 2 part Invisable Man is on tonight on SCIFI. I'm psyched because I taught those guys everything they know.

Last week when I was in Barnstable, MA, I went for a run to the ocean. When I got there it was so foggy that I couldn't see more than ten feet out. Then a huge seal emerged in front of me and swam around a bit before diving under again. It was cool, I've never seen a seal on the Cape. Good thing it wasn't a man-eating seal like they have in Russia.

Amtrak Derailment in Iowa Kills One, Injures 90. Okay, so the train crashed. However, if it had been a plane, everyone would be dead. We gotta switch to biodiesel airships.
I stayed in MA after my birthday to see my friend's play at the Hovey theater in Waltham. Check out some post-play photos if you like. They're marked-up for maximum info.

I designed this Celestial Dream Journal for Craftopia. They just emailed me and said they're going to become part of the Home Shopping Newtwork. Ugh.

My family took me out to dinner in West Newton, MA last night. Livia sat next to me and was very relaxed and happy. Here's the evidence.

I live in lower Manhattan now. I lived in Brookline, MA before that--but before that I lived in uptown Manhattan. There used to be a store near my apartment called Fresh and Plus. They had a "fancy" sign with orange and green racing stripes. They sold stuff like paper towels, soda, and bananas. I guess the bananas were the "Fresh" and the paper towels/soda was the "and Plus." Its all clear to me now. What a perfect name for the store!
Is Evan Williams a robot? A giant brain? How would 2 Million bucks be spent at Blogger? Don't stay in the dark! My interview with Ev is up at Web Review.

The Presidential Palm Helper is a good example of "cumulative humor" if you keep clicking on it and read each one, pretty soon they all seem really funny.

It's a bit limiting because I can only go to the year 2056, but I shouldn't complain--not everyone is able to travel to the future. Anyway, occasionally I'll broadcast interesting facts from beyond our time. When I do, you can read about it in my Wireless Future Blog. But keep it mum, 'cause the CIA is already after me.

I wrote to Dwell Magazine to see if they'd be interested in an essay I'm writing...
Dear Mr. Stone,
I'm afraid that "The Zen of Bob Vila" doesn't quite fit in with our editorial mission. He isn't really someone our readers would turn to for advice on their homes...
The she goes on to say that I am truly a genius, etc., etc. But I feel bad for Bob. Don't take it personally Bob, measure twice, cut once my friend. Vintage Norm Abram.

"Baby teeth" fall out to make room for incoming "adult teeth." It would be weird if this happened with other body parts. If my "baby ear" fell off to make room for my "adult ear" I would have to stay home for at least a week. And your "baby eye" might just fall right out of your head during a conversation -- nasty! Unfortunately, I was thinking about this today while I ate my lunch. No wonder I've been losing weight.
