I'm working on my first book right now. It's tentatively titled Pure Genius: Volume One - On Bob Vila, Veganism, Monsters, Robots, and How Everything Works. My original plan was to charge $100,000 per copy and just sell it to a couple people but then I was thinking maybe it's better if I give it away for free so it'll be more accessible to the general public.

In an ad I saw last night a guy locked his keys in his car so he called Onstar and they unlocked his car for him remotely. That's pretty cool -- a "smart car." They should make a version of this in Boston called the "Wicked Smaht Cah." Actually, with GPS, a map of your area, and your debit card information you could have a car that automatically deducts a penalty when you roll through a stop sign and such. "Wicked Pissa Smaht Cah."

I was in a used book "barn" in Pennsylvania a couple weeks ago and there was an old Type Directors Club booklet titled Type Talks. I guess they were right. (thanks metafilter.)

The President of Mexico's name is "Vicente Fox." That's a cool name. Mucho suave. I can never be president because my name doesn't sound presidential. However, I can be the leader of an underground army of lateral thinking revolutionists ... or maybe I already am! Not that I would be foolish enough to divulge that here. So anyway, for those of you in my "Steamed Broccoli Club" there's a "meeting" tonight.

Some friends of mine got me a TiVo as an early birthday present. Now I can watch "This Old House Classics" whenever I want. I can watch in slow motion as Bob stumbles up the stairs of an old Victorian in Dorchester, MA circa 1987! I know what you're thinking ... too much excitement can be overwhelming but I've got it under control. I wonder if someone will hack together a Napster for TiVo... TiVo users could "beam" shows to each other -- that'd be neat.

Cool! Blogger mentioned BlogFinder on the front page and we've got tons of fellow bloggers using the blog-only search engine. Dan said, "...i'll have to juggle some stuff around but we should be able to double our power." Scotty would never even say that! He also said we have more than a quarter million pages and growing. I taught him everything he knows. What? I did.

I'm building a site for Diane Keaton's latest film, Plan B Directed by Greg Yaitanes. I'm still working on it but swing by and check it out anyway. The movie isn't released yet, so this is like a super sneak preview!

Attention fellow bloggers! BlogFinder is up and running. My friend Dan and I jimmy-rigged a Google-esque blog-only search engine. Dan did the programming and I made the little magnifying glass--but hey, without that magnifying glass you wouldn't be able to find anything! Genius!
